So two days ago was Salt Lake City's day to host Warped Tour. As was expected it did not disappoint. The morning started out cloudy and a tad bit chilly which was a good sign for those of us who had been to the previous scorching Warped Tours. And even though as the day went on the clouds disappeared it was still a beautiful day and not unbearably hot. It was so much fun. I got to see so many amazing bands. Quite a few of my favorites were there. Escape the Fate was the one I looked forward to the most and they never disappoint. It was a blast. I did end up getting elbowed in the throat though. That was mighty painful. But despite that minor setback, I moshed with all the boys and had a great time. Then I saw Chiodos, which were pretty fun. One of the other bands I looked forward to was Cobra Starship. THey are also one of my favorites and always amazing in concert. I saw In This Moment, that girl can scream so beautifully. They were way better than I expected. Aiden was there and eccentric. They kicked the security guards out of the barrier between the stage and crowd and asked us to come up to the stage. That was pretty awesome. Eyes Set to Kill were there and they had a really wonderful set. One of the bands that got the most respect from me had to be Get Scared, it might be my local scene pride but they were just so amazing. And despite the fact that they were out of shape and just about died, they had an amazing set. All in all, as usual, Warped Tour leaves you feeling exhausted but exhilarated. Just about the best feeling you'll ever have after a day of sharing sweat with a bunch of strangers.
